Booka's going to kill me!

g

I had to do it. It was just too long. It was getting to the point where Cameron looked like my friends little girl from the back. LOL. So I took him took him to get all of his little curls cut off. I was so sad. Oh well... it'll grow back. Sorry Booka.

Good News and Bad news...

As most of you know John isn't going to be able to make it home in time. He doesn't know when he's going to be back or what exactly is going on but he said that it should be too much longer. I have my fingers crossed that it will be only a week. Now for the good news. The kids and I are coming down to San Diego as planned. Then whenever John flies in we'll spend the rest of his leave time there as well. So good news is that everyone will be able to spend some extra time with the kids. We will probably be in town sometime on the 8th. I'm bringing my parents along so they can spend Cameron's birthday with him as well. Can't wait until we get to see everyone! It's only 11 days away. I probably won't be updating the blog much more since I'll be busy making arrangements for the kids appointments and packing. We'll see you all soon! Love you all!

Day at Redwood Park

The weather has been beautiful out here... It's been in the low 70's with a light breeze. So we have been trying to get out as much as we can and enjoy the weather before we have to go back to Virginia. Cameron has been getting really clumsy. He's been bumping and bruising everything. Noah is rolling over now. We spread a blanket out onto the floor and he just rolls, rolls and rolls some more. He's been a little busy body. Of course he slept through the entire trip to the park.

There's picture of Cameron playing with a digger. He's officially the third generation to play on that. I was surprised that it was still there. This is one of my favorite parks. It's hidden in the middle of a redwood forest. Usually only the locals know about it. There are trails to walk on, a large playground and a nice open grassy area that's always sunny.

Well everyone we'll be seeing you all soon! We can't wait to get there!

A day at Freshwater Park

There's a park that's about a 15 minute drive away from us that's really nice. There is a little river that they dam up in the summer for swimming but they take it down in the winter. It has a playground and a picnic area. So we took the kids out because it was actually sunny and somewhat warm out. Cameron had a great time. He took his fishing pole out there and would cast it out in the river and with the pull it felt like there was a real fish tugging at the end of it. We threw rocks, played in the playground and had a little picnic lunch. We found a dog there that obviously lived in the area and was someones pet but he was a lot of fun to play with. The owners were no where in sight so we adopted him for the afternoon and played fetch with him. Of course Noah slept through the ENTIRE afternoon. I don't even think that he realized that we went anywhere.

Noah's 4 month Check up.

Well Noah is 4 months old today and had his check up with the Dr. I guess he's quite the little tank. He is 18lbs 11.5ounces, 25 inches long and in the 95% for kids his age. I think Noah will be looking after his big brother rather than the other way around. Ha ha ha. Oh well, other than that he's in good shape and healthy. Which is all that I can ask for. I took Cameron to a play class at a local gymnastics place for kids. He had a great time so I signed him up for the last month that we are here so that he can get out, play and burn off some energy. My best friend and a guy that I went to school with both take their kids every Wednesday and their kids only a few months older than Cameron. Plus, I get to catch up with some old friends. There is a lot of stuff for the kids to climb on plus there is a large trampoline with a foam pit at the end that you can throw yourself into. It helps for Cameron to burn off some energy and work on his listening. So that's fun! Other than that we are all just getting over being sick. My mom and dad, myself and the kids were all sick at the same time and we're are just now all getting over it.
