Hi everyone. Sorry it's been so long. We've been really busy exploring the area. Still no household goods, so more pictures are going to have to wait. But these are just some off of John's phone. We have spent a few days visiting family, went to the ice cream capital of the world, went to the Lewis and Clark Lake, a few other misc things and the best one was the Vala Pumpkin Patch. It's the size of a small amusement park and the boys had a BLAST. There's these bubble trampolines filled with air that the kids can jump on. There's three so that they can separate by age. They had a corn pit, which is just a 3 foot deep area filled with dry corn that the kids can dig and roll around in. Rubber duck races, swing sets, 3 or 4 play area's for the kids, pumpkin cannons, apple sling shots, and the list goes on. It's about 5 or 6 acres with things to do. There was a lot of walking and we still weren't able to do everything but we had a lot of fun. Well that's about all here. I just thought that I would fill everyone in before I got in trouble. We love you all and hope you all can come out for a visit sometime.

Things were busy this week....

Hi all... We had a great weekend with Cody and Robert. Cameron was really bummed when they left. They were able to get some fishing in. I'll be sure to add some of the pics that they took. Now the boys and I are looking forward to Karen's visit. Nothing much has changed since the last post. Noah is walking more than crawling now. We had to finally go and buy him some shoes. Not something that comes easily with his feet being so small but chubby. We took the kids to the petting farm today. Cameron had a great time but I have a feeling that Noah isn't going to be much of an animal person. He ended up being nipped by a goat. He was not happy after that. He didn't seem to mind the chickens though. Cameron had a great time in the chicken pen. He liked it so much that we had to go back a second time. They are pretty tame and were able to just pick them up and pet them. I think that Cameron's favorite part was feeding them. I almost want to get a pet chicken for Cameron he enjoyed them so much. Well here are some pictures from the visit, fishing trip and trip to the farm. I also added some pictures of the caterpillar infestation that we had. they would strip one branch at a time. the whole branch would be bare and they would eat so loud that it sounded like it was raining outside. Hope you all enjoy!

Boys are getting bigger...

Hi all! It's almost time for our big move. It's not California but it's closer to Cali than VA so we're happy about that. Cameron and I are definitely looking forward to those snow days! John has been enjoying life. He's not really needed on the ship as much since he will be leaving soon and has been pretty much coming home at noon everyday. We're going to have a busy week next month. We have renters lined up for our place. A really nice couple and the man is a retired Chief in the Navy. They want to rent for the full 3 years that we will be gone so that will be a nice security for us. We're not excited about having to get the house ready to go for them though... I loath painting...LOL. We're looking forward to Roberts visit in August and Karens visit in September. It will be a lot of fun. Noah is getting bigger and bigger. We still can't believe that he'll be one in a month. He has been standing up on his own and occasionally gets up enough nerve to take a few steps before he comes crashing down. He eats EVERYTHING! He's a big fan of his veggies and will even eat cabbage. We're almost off of the bottle we're down to two a day so he should be all done by the time he hits one year. He also loves to climb...everything. We officially are not allowed to have a coffee table or end tables since he thinks that they are there for his entertainment as a personal jungle gym. Cameron has been officially potty trained. He still wears a pull up at night because he won't wake up in the middle of the night to pee but we're working on that. Cameron has been good for the most part. He seemed to have skipped his terrible two's and saved it all for the intolerable three's. Ha Ha Ha. He's been eating better and seems to be getting out of the picky food stage. He's been doing a good job working hard in his preschool books and working on his computer so that he can be ready for school. He's getting to be quite the character and his vocabulary is growing every day. He helps his little brother play with toys and will even dig through his toy box to get Noah things to play with. He loves to cook in the kitchen and has a lot of fun baking with me. Cameron is also at a point now where he refuses to take a bath without his little brother. My entire bathroom is soaked by the time they are finished but they have soooo much fun doing it!

Anyway, hope everyone is doing well and hopefully we'll be able to see everyone soon!

The boys are getting along...

Just thought that I would finally update this thing. There hasn't been a whole lot going on right now. Just hanging out. Noah is waving hello and good bye, says da-da and stood all by himself without holding on to anything the other day. We got the kids a little pool that they are completely in love with. It's only about 3 inches deep since Noah is so young and Cameron hates to swim. We also took them to the new indoor play area at the mall. They finally gated off all of the entrances and redid all of the equipment. It's all done in nautical Looney Toons so of course Cameron LOVES it. Cameron has been doing a very good job taking care of his little brother. They have their little spit spats but at the end of the day they still love each other... LOL. Cameron just crawled in there all by himself and when I went to go check on them before we went to bed there they were.
